COUNCIL DOESN’T RULE OUT DAVISTOWN WETLANDS PURCHASE

Central Coast Council says it’s not giving up on purchasing the Davistown wetlands, despite its liquidity issues.

It comes amid concerns negotiations have stalled, as the site remains on the market and earmarked for development.

Council has confirmed it still has restricted funds set aside to purchase the environmentally sensitive wetlands.
