Meantime the Northern Rivers is still on flood watch, with between 60 to 110 millimetres of rain falling over parts of the catchment overnight.
But the moderate to major flood alert for the Richmond and Wilsons rivers has been downgraded to minor.
“And I’m expecting that will hopefully be downgraded in the next 24 hours and we should be off the floodwatch by tomorrow.”
Residents are still being urged to keep an eye on weather conditions and warnings.
