TEEN CHARGED AFTER 50-YEAR-OLD ALLEGEDLY STRUCK BY MOTORBIKE

A teenage boy will face court, after he allegedly struck a 50-year while riding his motorbike in north west New South Wales.
The incident happened last Saturday at around 9:30pm in Narrabri.
Yesterday, police charged the 16-year-old rider with a number of offences, including negligent and dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm, and driving without a license.
The pedestrian remains in Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital with serious injuries.
The teenager was refused bail and will appear at court on Monday.
