Central Coast triathlete Adam Cartmell will be aiming for first place overall, when he competes in the Maitland Triathlon in a fortnight.
The 27 year old missed out on gold at the World Championships earlier this month, after he accidentally travelled 10 kilometres too far in the bike leg.
