Popular jockey Tim Bell has been farewelled at an emotional funeral service in Narrabri today.
The 22-year-old fell to his death from a high rise building in Singapore on Melbourne Cup day.
Investigations suggest he slipped and fell.
Born in Narrabri, Bell began his racing career with Tamworth trainer Sue Grills.
His death has shocked Australia’s racing community.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at Brisbane’s Doomben Racecourse on Thursday.
