Lake Macquarie motorbike racer Tom Edwards has cause to celebrate this Christmas.
The 17-year-old has announced on social media that he’ll be heading to Italy shortly, to join the Kawasaki ParkinGO team for the 2019 World Supersport 300 series.
It follows a see-sawing campaign for the teenager in this year’s championship.
A broken chain forced him to bow out while leading the last round in France in October, with three laps to go.
