It’s the end of an era for The Cambridge but it wont go out quietly

It’s helped forge the careers of some of Australia’s biggest names – but now Newcastle institution, the Cambridge Hotel, is about to close its doors after almost 70 years.

And artists who got a start on its stages are going back to where it all began this weekend… for a Farewell Festival with an all-star line-up.
