WALLIS LAKE DEFEATS REIGNING PREMIERS

In round seven of Mid North Coast Football, the Camden Haven Redbacks made easy work of Old Bar, while Port United defeated Kempsey.

First-placed Port Macquarie FC further cemented its position on top of the leaderboard, while Macleay Valley also came away with a win against Tuncurry-Forster.

Meanwhile Wallis Lake continued its solid run in the competition, defeating reigning premiers, the Taree Wildcats 2-1.

The score was locked at half time, but a goal from Wallis Lake’s Lewis Ponti in the second half, secured the win for his team.
