A motorcyclist has died after a police pursuit near Tweed Heads last night.
Officers spotted the man at East Tumbulgum at about 8pm last night and started following the man.
Police say a minute into the pursuit the 42-year-old driver lost control of the bike and hit a tree, dying at the scene.
It is not yet known why officers launched the pursuit.

If he hadn’t run from police he wouldn’t be speeding, therefore he wouldn’t have crashed. Tough luck to him. Thank god he didn’t hurt anyone else.
