New england and north west farmers have been given a helping hand to control noxious weeds.
The state government has announced $207,000 funding to assist farmers to target pests like St Johns Wort, green cestrum and blackberry.
The money will also fund a regional weeds co-ordinator.
Weeds cost the Australian agricultural industry around $4-million per year.
