Rhiannan Iffland wins third straight title

There was more gold for Australia in Japan, with Lake Macquarie’s Rhiannan Iffland winning her third straight high diving world title.

The 31-year-old led from the start, and showed nerves of steel to jump last in the final round from the 20-metre platform.

The sport isn’t on the program for the Paris Olympics, but she’s hoping it CAN be added for Los Angeles or Brisbane.

Iffland will now turn her attention to the next round of the cliff diving world series… no doubt full of confidence after today’s win.
