the main road between Macksville and Taylors Arm will remain closed for up to another eight months while major work’s carried out to repair a landslip.
The road, which has been closed since last month, is used by around 1500 people who live in the Taylors Arm, Bakers and Thumb Creek areas.
Tourists and locals needing to access the area can do so though unsealed alternative routes.
