GOSFORD MP SUSPENDED FROM PARLIAMENT

Labor has slammed the state government for ignoring the Central Coast’s need for bushfire funding.
The opposition claims the region did not receive a cent from the recovery fund – despite sustaining $163 million in economic damage during the Black Summer bushfires.
A local MP even being thrown out of parliament today over the issue.
“Two years I’ve been behaving myself but when I see this inequity it just makes me furious. I see Liberal seats being given so much money and where we need it most we miss out.” – Liesl Tesch – Member for Gosford (ALP)
However Parliamentary Secretary, Adam Crouch says the region has already received $25 million and there’s more to come with $250 million of applications being assessed.
