A Newcastle doctor turned film director is preparing to screen his third feature.
Starring actors from the Hunter and Central Coast, Mclean’s Money by Dr Gerald Lawson tells the story of an ageing tycoon, who after a health scare, puts his relatives to the test to see who should inherit his wealth.
“We don’t get a lot of opportunity as actors to work on films, this is a great opportunity Gerald’s given us.” said Actor Barry Shepard.
The film will be screened at Event Cinemas Newcastle for two weeks.
“To have a commercial organisation say look we think we’ll run with this film, that’s very gratifying.” said Gerald Lawson, Director.
