Two men in their 40s have been arrested over the suspected murder of Bingara man Darren Royce Willis almost nine years ago.
Strike force investigators arrested the pair just before 11 o’clock Friday morning, and they were taken to Moree Police Station.
It follows extensive inquiries in to Mr Willis’ disappearance in 2010.
He was last seen leaving the Imperial Hotel at Bingara on a Friday night in December that year.
New England Police will address the media in Armidale on Friday afternoon.
