The military history of Mount George will be commemorated next weekend, as the community unites for a special salute to the ANZAC’s.
We have a big grand parade where people will get out the family medals, polish them up wear them march in the parade and that will start at 10:30, said organiser Mave Richardson.
The commemoration has been funded by a commonwealth grant to recognise the 100 year anniversary of the landing at Galipoli.
