There was heartbreak for a Sydney family this afternoon.
A truck carrying most of its belongings caught alight on the Pacific Highway, 10 kilometres north of the Tea Gardens turnoff.
The father tried everything he could to stop the flames from spreading, and some other motorists joined in.
The family was moving to Queensland.
