COLLAPSE IN BUSINESS CONFIDENCE FOR NEWCASTLE & HUNTER

There’s been a large drop in business confidence in the Hunter.

A survey by the business chamber shows a deterioration in the June quarter.

“The Hunter businesses were a shining light above other region this time, this time we’ve taken a significant dip, come back to the pack.”

The decline is being blamed on the drought, recent elections and consumer spending.
