Newcastle steel workers strike over wages

Hundreds of steelworkers walked off the job in Newcastle today, saying they can’t afford to live on their current wages.

It’s the first time in decades employees at the Infrabuild sites have gone on strike but the company says it is working to negotiate a better deal.
