A 21-year-old Nambucca Heads man will appear in court next month to face assault charges over the alleged bashing of a group of television reporters in Bega last month.
The man is one of three, who allegedly assaulted the group when they left a Bega Hotel late at night.
Two men, both aged 32, were taken to hospital with numerous facial injuries.
The journalists were in town because of the tragic Tathra drowning of a father and his two sons.
