TRUCKIES TELL HOW SCENERY IS CHANGING

Hay trucks continue to roll in to town as the drought goes on.
This load of hay is another golden delivery for farmers struggling to source and pay for feed…
Clocking up countless kilometres, truckies have seen first-hand how the landscape is starting to change.
“Over the last couple of months we’ve seen the countryside change a fair bit from bare dirt to a bit of green pick that’s come up after a fair bit of rain,” Johnny Lockridge, Transport Operator.
But they concede the drought is far from breaking, just yet.
“We’ll keep delivering as long as it’s available. It’s going to be ongoing for a fair while yet.”
