More than 5,000 players, officials and supporters will be in Port Macquarie this weekend for the 22nd annual Touch Football State Cup.
An extra 12 teams have signed up for the three-day tournament this year, taking the total number of sides to more than 200.
17 divisions will contested from the under 20s right through to the over 50s.
The host club will be fielding six teams in this year’s State Cup and is hoping to emulate the successes of the past.
Many of the matches could become muddy encounters, with the Tuffins Lane fields copping a soaking in recent days.
The action gets underway on Friday morning.
