CROWDY BAY NATIONAL PARK FIRE DOWNGRADED TO ADVICE LEVEL

A bush fire in Crowdy Bay National Park has been downgraded to advice level.

The fire flared up on Monday evening.. a Harrington holiday park evacuated in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Emergency crews are continuing to back burn the area, strengthening containment lines.

It has now burnt more than 1600 hectares of land.

Further south, two fires in Darawank and Minimbah are now under control.
