MAC VILLAGE TAKE TWO

Liverpool Plains Shire Council has fielded another development application for a mining village in Werris Creek.
After initial plans received the green light from the Land and Environment Court in July last year, an appeal by Graincorp torpedoed the project three months ago.
New plans were submitted late yesterday, and the Liverpool Plains Mayor has thrown his support behind the project.
As it will boost the local economy and create jobs.
Submissions can be made on the latest application for the next 28 days.
