Coffs Harbour residents should have access to an all-year-round swimming facility by this time next week.
The final touches are being put to the War Memorial Olympic Pool complex, which has been undergoing refurbishments since April.
Local identity Barbara Hogbin today presented council with her family’s $750,000 donation towards the new 25-metre indoor heated pool.
The new-look complex, which also includes a re-lined 50 metre pool, children’s splash pad, and outdoor café should be ready for the public on Monday.
Council hopes the Federal Minister for Infrastructure will travel to Coffs to officially open the $5-million complex.
