One of the Coffs Coast’s most popular community events won’t be held this year.
The Coffs Coast Cycle Challenge was set down for August, but the loss of a major sponsor has forced the cancellation of the event.
National Australia Bank announced in March it would withdraw its support, and a replacement has yet to be found.
Last year’s ride drew in close to 1, 000 cyclists.

This would be a great time for local council / tourism operators to step in and invest in a great event that brings people to our beautiful region. I’m sure organizers have consider all options before cancelling the event however I’m sure all participants would happily pay an extra $10 on the entry fee to keep this great event going.
