Joel Vuaghan goes down in thrilling quarter-final in California

The Central Coast’s Joel Vaughan has gone down in a thrilling quarter-final at the World Junior Championships in California.

The North Shelly Boardrider faced Jackson Bunch.

In a tight tussle, the Hawaiian gained the edge, with an eight-point ride, late in the heat.

Bunch went on to finish runner-up, behind American Jett Schilling.
