A four-year-old Macksville girl is recovering in Coffs Harbour hospital after falling from a first floor window on ANZAC Day.
Hermoine Rumble fell from the window at her home in River Street when she lent against the fly screen.
The youngster fell approximately three metres onto a concrete footpath.
Today her aunt called for legislation to implement safety measures on windows above ground level.
” She’s feeling a bit low because she’s got a bunged up face and a broken nose poor little girl but other than that she’s doing alright, getting spoilt.”
