Any mystery surrounding the disapearence of Hexham’s Ozzie the Mozzie has been solved.
It seems the Hunter icon is in a warehouse in Sandgate, where he’s preparing for a $10,000 makeover.
He’ll be pulled apart, made slightly smaller, and given a new fibreglass look.
Ozzie will soon be back at his former haunt, but in a new spot, away from recently-installed electrical wires.
“He’ll have major reconstruction work on his wings. He’ll have nip and tuck and nose job, and we hope to have him back in about five weeks, time.”
