Residents of the New England woke this morning to find themselves cloaked in a blanket of snow.
Guyra recorded some of the heaviest falls, turning the town into a winter wonderland – on a spring day.
A cold snap has hit New South Wales, with snow falling on the New South Wales Northern Tablelands early this morning.

There was even enough snow to make a snowman.
The unseasonal weather is set to continue over the weekend with the temperature in Walcha expected to get as low as -4 degrees on Saturday.
