Inquest into Jarrad Antonovich’s death adjourned for new witnesses

A coronial inquest into the death of Jarrad Antonovich has been adjourned after investigators identified more witnesses who can assist with inquiries.

The 46 year old died from a perforated oesophagus in October 2021 – after consuming the plant-based psychedelic ayahuasca and a frog-based poison known as ‘kambo’ at the Dreaming Arts Festival, north of Kyogle.

The inquest will resume in May at Byron Bay Local Court.
