A man died in an industrial accident in Tamworth this afternoon.
Police were called to Belmore Engineering at Taminda, shortly before four o’clock, amid reports a forklift load had fallen onto an employee.
Distraught co-workers gathered to support each other, after the 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Tamworth Police and WorkCover are investigating.
