The cause of an industrial workplace accident which killed a man in Tamworth yesterday afternoon remains unclear.
Emergency services were called to Belmore Engineering on Showground Road shortly before 4 o’clock – a 39-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both police and Workcover inspectors are still investigating how the tragedy occured.
It’s believed a piece of lifting machinery was involved.
