Just one Gold Coast beach remains closed following this week’s heavy erosion.
This morning, council workers took to the Surfers Paradise beach-front at Elkhorn Avenue in a bid to restore access.
Sand was trucked in from nearby dunes to reduce scarping.
The work will continue tomorrow morning from 7am.
