KURT FEARNLEY CONFIDENT NEW YORK MARATHON WILL GO AHEAD

Newcastle’s Kurt Fearnley is on his way to America tonight, confident the New York Marathon will go ahead this weekend.
Fresh from winning the first running of the Fernleigh 15, the wheelchair racing legend was in a positive frame of mind as he looks to claim his long awaited fifth crown in the Big Apple.
Since returning from the London Paralympics without a gold medal, a win in New York has become Fearnley’s top priority.
He’ll spend a few days in Los Angeles training, before making his way to the east coast later in the week.
