Organisers of the Central and Districts Rowing Championships are yet to decide whether the event will go ahead at all, after it was cancelled last weekend.
The Championship, which had attracted 250 competitors, was due to take place on the Manning River at Taree, but it was deemed unsafe due to heavy rain.
Organisers are unsure if they can re-schedule the event, with limited weekends still available due to other rowing events.
A decision is expected to be made by the end of the week.
