WETLAND CONSERVATION AT SEAHAM MARKS PARKS WEEK

Seaham Public School students today joined Environment Minister, Robyn Parker to celebrate Parks Week at the Seaham Swamp Nature Reserve.
To help the ongoing regeneration of the wetlands, dedicated teacher Bill Unicom passed on his passion for growing natives to the pupils.
The children planted 75 native trees and shrubs.
The Minister was also paying tribute to the contribution and commitment that volunteers make to conserving and improving Seaham Park and the wetlands.
