A seige on the Gold Coast has entered a second night.
31-year-old Jamie Oderling is holed up inside a house at Upper Coomera, with his two dogs.
The drama began around seven last night, when he threatened to blow himself up using gas bottles.
Police have been negotiating all day, but say his mood is unpredictable.
Neighbouring houses have been evacuated.
