Residents at Broadbeach Waters have spent the morning cleaning graffiti from the front of their homes after vandals went on a rampage overnight.
Racist and offensive remarks were spray-painted along fences on Bermuda and Rudd Streets.
“People seem to think it’s ok to deface somebody else’s property is just disgusting and the types of things they write are quite disgusting.”
Police believe it’s an isolated incident.
Council has helped clean up the damage, and has vowed to have the graffiti removed by the end of the day.
