INVESTIGATIONS CONTINUE INTO TWEED GM SACKING
Investigators looking into the sacking of Tweed GM David Keenan will hand a brief to Local Government minister, Don Page tomorrow.
The dismissal sparked a mass protest from the Tweed business community last week.
But while Mr Page hopes the findings will be open and transparent, there is a chance it could remain confidential.
“There’d be a lot very disappointed people in the community, the whole reason that the community is so outraged by the decision and the way it was done was because there are no answers.”
More than 500 people signed a petition calling for an open explanation of the dismissal.
