Work on a $3 million upgrade of Ocean Drive is in its final stages, meaning traffic flow along, one of the region’s primary links between Port Macquarie and Camden Haven will soon improve.
The upgrade involves the widening and strengthening of sections of the main road and the addition of cycle lanes between the Houston Mitchell Drive intersection and Seawind Chase, north of Bonny Hills.
The final seal on the southern section of the project will take place following the Ironman competition on May 5.
