In a dramatic rescue, Careflight has winched a 19 year old man to safety after he plunged down the side of a cliff this morning, near Binna Burra.
The teenager and two friends had been attempting to climb down the side of Lower Ballanjui Falls when he slipped and fell 40 metres.
The injured teen suffered a gash to his leg and is recovering in Gold Coast Uni Hospital.
