Diving enthusiasts took a step back in time at Nelson Bay this morning, testing out some vintage gear.
The old fashioned equipment can weigh up to 80kg including the boots, belt and helmet.
The suits enabled divers in the 19th and 20th century to walk and work beneath the waters surface.
