MORE PATIENTS TREATED ON TIME AT CENTRAL COAST HOSPITALS
There’s been a slight increase in the number of patients being seen on time at Central Coast emergency departments.
New National Health Performance Authority figures show 48 per cent of people who fronted Gosford Hospital’s ED last year, were treated within the recommended time frame of four hours.
That’s up three per cent on the year before.
Wyong Hospital saw a similar rise, but both hospitals failed to meet the state target for 2013 of 71 per cent.
