Two time winner Carmen Anderson has won the Ladies Black Douglas bowls tournament at South Tweed Sports by two points.
She defeated Sarah Boddington 25, 23.
The former world champion managed to sneak past some big names to claim the win.
“We had the Australian champion Anne Johns and she is the Australian Singles holder at the moment. That was a surprise one that went out on the first day and also Lindsay Clarke who was Queensland Champion.”
The event is one of the richest ladies competitions in Australia.
