A 31-year-old man is facing a string of firearm charges, after police searched a car at Lake Macquarie.
At around 6:30 last night, police examined a car parked on Third Street in Boolaroo, following a tip-off.
It’s alleged they found multiple firearm parts including ammunition, trigger mechanisms, two firearm barrels and a home-made silencer.
