It’s hoped coastal engineers from Crown Lands will soon assess access points to beaches across the Manning – damaged during a storm almost two-weeks ago.
Vehicle access to Manning Point Beach, as well as vehicle and pedestrian access to Old Bar Beach are still closed.
While Manning Entrance State Park can only be reached by boat.
The entrances are so badly damaged they’ll need to be reconstructed entirely.
Crown Lands will assess whether that option is viable.
