It was kids paradise at the Coomera Ambulance station today,
with littlies, unable to take their eyes or hands off the CPR dummies, among other training demonstrations as part of Ambulance Week.
Paramedics, and Clinical Support officers were on hand to take any questions…
“So what we are going to do is we have a special pump that we put on here. Ah Ah I want to pump it, You want to help me do you, yes I do”
“We’ve had a few people come here interested, particularly year twelve looking for university options next year, asking our paramedics what it’s like being a paramedic.”
The open day, gave the community an opportunity to get to know local officers.
