South Grafton has plenty of reasons to celebrate after its lawn bowls team took out the Club Champion of Champions Pairs at Ballina’s RSL Club.
Bruce Ashbrooke and Ian Dickenson defeated their South Lismore opponents, 28 shots to 11.
The win means the pair has earned a place in the state titles, to be held in Nowra in November.
“You feel great, you get to go away and play against the best in the state and hopefully take away a state championship.”
