The opening of Nabiac Pool has been pushed back to early next year, with recent rain and insurance issues delaying the opening.
Residents had been hoping the pool would be up and running in time for Christmas, but after an inspection by Royal Surf Life Saving and Great Lakes Council’s insurance company, it was held off.
The pool needs more hand rails and a division between the toddler area and the swimming pool before it can open.
